Saying it was "deeply regrettable" that Labour failed to convince voters it was fighting antisemitism misses the point entirely. Deeply regrettable was the dogmatic refusal to take antisemitism seriously, turning a blind eye when expedient & the botched party complaints process

Len McCluskey on “Individuals who opposed Jeremy Corbyn used the antisemitism issue to undermine him” That’s what happens when you’re a massive racist, people don’t like it and they will use it against you.

30yrs ago most in wanted , now many dont like it. My point is: state-society compact was about who owns and who benefits from state's current form, hence identity will remain central to postcommunist politics. Read👇

Very important that my democratic socialist allies, whose instinct may be to compromise with Corbynism, do not do so either in policy or personnel Corbynism will never win an election in England. It is doomed and it is wrong. We have got to end it decisively and for good

Tony Blair predicting exactly what has happened, advising Corbyn not to agree to an ‘elephant trap’ of an election before Brexit was decided, saying if he did, people who’d never normally vote Tory would do so.

Agreed and unlike Corbyn, Foot was a deep intellectual. Like Neil Kinnock, his leadership was characterized by fire-fighting the Hard Left. Aided by Derry Irvine and Tony Blair, Foot acted against the Militant Tendency. Will the next leader act against Momentum in a similar vein?

If the Corbynite narrative was right, Brexit would be the big concern about Labour among Lab Leave voters. Instead their biggest concern was Jeremy Corbyn, then spending. Brexit 3rd.
