So following the ruling in
@EmmandJDeSouza case today which rules against GFA & that Irish citizens in north are British & that we have to renounce Brit citizenship. Knowing the outlook of this government I'm guessing that those Irish who "generally" won't require leave are those from the area that used to comprise the Pale? A former lover has compared him to Henry VIII so why not go all out I suppose.

I think one reason is that the law on the CTA needs ironing out as there are some quirks in it - like you can only rely on CTA if you’re coming from RoI -> UK. So an Irish citizen coming from France wouldn’t be able to... that’s what I was told about last immigration bill
