@AdamBernard_HA It's between you and the Labour guy for my vote. I'm disabled with high social care needs, young and employed. Win my vote!
Hi Vik, First I'd say that while Lab and us are both promising to fund NHS & social care better, we know where the money is coming from; /1

Thx for replies. I agree with 1p tax rise if it means ppl needing full time care at home get more rights to funding for independence.
-
I think most people do. I also think that bringing social care and NHS together (as we propose) will have benefits in terms of social care…
-
…getting a higher priority; at present it's a target for cuts in a way that acute medical facilities aren't.

Really want Tories out after Dilnot u-turn & Brexit fiasco. Last election in Harrow was CON 50%, LAB 40% and LD < 3%. Better to vote LAB?
-
I think in Harrow East it's better to vote for the party you want, otherwise we'll be stuck in two-party politics forever.
-
I do understand the need for tactical voting in some places though. But the Lib Dems are committed to ditching FPTP; Lab & Con aren't.

The IFS think that our proposals are realistic https://election2017.ifs.org.uk/article/income-tax-and-benefits-the-liberal-democrats-and-labour-compared … and we're being honest with need for tax rises. /2
-
Our proposals are also the fairest on the poorest; we're cancelling a lot of Tory proposed benefits cuts that Labour are letting go ahead /3pic.twitter.com/A3oqYjmNXi
-
Just as importantly, we're opposed to the hard Brexit that both Labour and Conservatives support. A wrecked economy will hurt everyone. 4/
-
And we believe that immigration is a positive force; we will *not* cut trade ties just to curtail freedom of movement. 5/
-
Likewise we're not prepared to sacrifice the planet's future for short-term profit. (unlike some: http://www.libdems.org.uk/trump ) 6/
-
I hope that's some starting points on some positive differences between us and other parties. Happy to answer any questions! - Adam
