Sonic the Hedgehog 2 bites off a bit more than it can chew, but overall, it’s just as funny, charming, and heartfelt as the first movie, and even more loyal to its video game roots. My review:

It's hard to believe the first Nintendo Direct was nearly 11 years ago! Since then, these shows have become one of the things I look forward to the most. The excitement of the announcement, the promise of what could be, and that one... more... thing... is unmatched for me!

I know the news of the sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild's delay was sad, but I thought the best way to help cheer up your heart is to present you with my latest feature on - a history of the wonderful Nintendo Direct!

Speaking of — I sat down with the cast to discuss the delicate subject of Marc's DID, Oscar Isaac's return to Disney, and why tight collaboration made working on this show a dream for the cast and crew.

That moment in Elden Ring when you find out what the bell is has cemented itself as one of my favorite gaming moments ever. That epitomizes the feeling I long to reach when playing. Exploration and reward at its finest! Love this game.

What a FANTASTIC discussion between and . The nuance in this discussion was beautiful and really brought home some ideas that we should all be thinking about in terms of inclusive design. LOVED THIS!

We all know how it can be better - performance to play third-party games, better support for old games, achievements, etc. - but it does what it does so well. I hope the Switch 2 is exactly that. A system that makes even more wonderful all that makes the original so wonderful.

Happy Birthday to my favorite console of all time and one of my favorite games of all time. The Switch is everything I love about gaming. It allows me to play where I want, when I want, and still experience the best of what Nintendo has to offer. It is, in a word, magic.

It also has a Wild Mode that touts a harder difficulty for those who say these games are too easy! We’ll see how it works in practice, but that’s promising! Also, the 3D open world feel of this game just feels so right and fun. Can’t wait for the full game.
