      How fundamentally important and meaningful good weight and mechanics are. Bouncing ball, heavy ball, medium ball, light ball, ball in obstacle course, pendulum, ball with tail, etc all have to be mastered before moving on. If you don’t nail those, you’ll struggle forever.

          Those are all part of the curriculum 🙂👍 I’ve found that moving beyond those to the walk cycle is just too much for one intro class, so I’ll be capping it at those exercises to make sure we drill them enough.

          And to add to that at the beginning I kept hearing "the bouncing ball applies to everything" but at the time I didn't really understand why, just accepted it as a thing I should know, felt like a magic trick I couldn't find the answer to 😅
