It's bizarre. If there was an innocent explanation, she and her entourage should have known it'd be lost on the public without further explanation. It's a bold enough statement for anyone to make, but of all the clothes to wear, why that, at that time?!

Lol! I don't know about that, but a little bit of the East London, 3rd or 4th hand! The place where I lived as a child was a post War 'overflow', so lots of people moved from E. London to there, into many new homes. My Grandad had lived there as a child, too.
That's one of the peculiar things about Twitter isn't it - you can chat to someone everyday for ages and not know what they sound like! It's interesting, the voices & accents we might attribute to people 
Pretty flowers, by the way! Don't know what it is, but it reminds me of Rose Bay willowherb, which I think is from the epilobium family. Those are dark pink, I think fireweed is another name because they like to grow on ashes.
