Ways to get lucky: • Hope luck finds you. • Hustle until you stumble into it. • Prepare the mind and be sensitive to chances others miss. • Become the best at what you do. Refine what you do until this is true. Opportunity will seek you out. Luck becomes your destiny.

Common developer fallacy: This type of programming is much harder/better than that other kind. My language is better than their language. I'm smarter than that dev because I use X tool.

1 Month of Key takeaways: - Carefully crafted games can be used to convey any message or feeling! - Focused minimalism is powerful. - Is this the birth of a new genre ? (or are these really games ?) 🤔 - Indie devs are nice people. 😀

Thinking about these quotes today... “If you want to be successful, find out what the price is and then pay it.” —Scott Adams “If you don't get what you want, it's a sign either that you did not seriously want it, or that you tried to bargain over the price.” —Rudyard Kipling

Day 31 of Game by That was beautiful 😃 A small visual novel recapitulating the events of a typical RPG story line, plot twists and all! Interestingly, the protagonist imagines himself as Link! "It's dangerous to go alone! Take this." included :)

Day 30 of Game by Interesting. This is a depiction of a daily struggle through minimal and distorted graphics coupled with unsettling sounds that play a key role in defining states. All this running as a ROM from inside a GBA emulator. Cool! :D

Day 29 of Game by & LUCIE GROMUSOVÁ I have no idea where the inspiration came from for this game, but this is hilarious! 🤣 You have to find a specific spot that triggers a funny/crazy response from the dog. You'll have a great laugh :D

Day 28 of Game By Florian Dormont Yes, I've been there. Trying to relieve people of their sadness may have side effects, especially on the long term. The key is to keep pushing until you leave them at least +1 happier and have time for yourself in between. :)

Day 24 of Game by Yeah, the process of transitioning from chaos to order can be truly overwhelming. The best solution is to avoid chaos altogether by implementing a strict system for passive organization! Btw, plays similarly to Mahjong :D
