I saw this ad during @MeetThePress today.
An emotional plea for R&D.
So, I went to their website and read the info.
It struck me as a threat, to stop researching cures for cancer & Alzheimer’s, which my mom died of, a year ago, if Rx prices are reduced.

This type of implied threat makes me so mad. There have been so many budget cuts for real research under GOP austerity. Remember the ALS ice bucket challenges? What’s next, the Alzheimer’s enema challenge? Punches for Parkinson’s? My mom’s Parkinson’s medication cost $7k per mo.

Similar with my mom. Died of lung cancer, never smoked. Innovation is the key to our civilization and planet surviving. Fossil fuels will not cut it. Coal is over. We need innovation to find modern day solutions.

My mom was a young child in the 30s. They burned coal and used asbestos for insolation. Undoubtably, root causes of her cancer diagnosed when she was 85.

This is pharma propaganda. Part of an overall campaign to try and frighten us away from demanding more research and lower drug prices, which we deserve and they can easily afford.
