This thread makes a pretty convincing case that Gabriel Chase, a former acolyte of white nationalist Nick Fuentes, assaulted police and engaged in property destruction inside the US Capitol on J6. That's a lot more than was previously known publicly.

This doesn't even include being in one of the *first groups* of rioters to push up the stairs to the west upper terrace [2:14pm], enter the Capitol through the NW door [2:16pm] and push past LEOs in the Crypt [2:26], later entering Nancy Pelosi's conf. room until [2:35]. 🤯 😱

Today Dec 22nd 2022 Thomas Michael Carey pleaded guilty to 40 U.S.C. § 5104(e)(2)(G)- Parading, Demonstrating, or Picketing in a Capitol Building, on January 6th 2021. He is the short white man in the black pea coat in this image near the "north door" area of the Capitol after leaving the interior. He is covering his face, apparently to protect it from fire extinguisher residue. Carey admitted he was in every area described by the prosecutor. Most of those areas are shown in the mega thread. When asked, Carey admitted he went inside knowing it was not allowed. He knew the certification was taking place that day but didn't think they could do anything to stop it. He also acknowledged he had seen police trying to stop people earlier and that there was damage to the door they entered. Despite all that he still went inside. He also claimed he was there simply because it was an historic event he wanted to be a part of, not that he particularly cared for Trump.

Today Dec 22nd 2022 Thomas Michael Carey pleaded guilty to 40 U.S.C. § 5104(e)(2)(G)- Parading, Demonstrating, or Picketing in a Capitol Building, on January 6th 2021. He is the short white man in the black pea coat in this image near the "north door" area of the Capitol after leaving the interior. He is covering his face, apparently to protect it from fire extinguisher residue. Carey admitted he was in every area described by the prosecutor. Most of those areas are shown in the mega thread. When asked, Carey admitted he went inside knowing it was not allowed. He knew the certification was taking place that day but didn't think they could do anything to stop it. He also acknowledged he had seen police trying to stop people earlier and that there was damage to the door they entered. Despite all that he still went inside. He also claimed he was there simply because it was an historic event he wanted to be a part of, not that he particularly cared for Trump.
