Today, in Being a Woman on Twitter, a dude (incorrectly and obnoxiously) mansplains to a former law clerk of Justice O’Connor which initials Justice O’Connor used to abbreviate her name.

The latest episode of Professor 's podcast takes on President Trump's threat to revoke birthright citizenship through an executive order, and what the 14th Amendment would have to say about that.

Too all the parents complaining about messed up child schedules and early wake ups after daily light savings. Sure, I feel your pain. But isn’t it nice to have the extra hour to plow your fields?

First big vote by Justice Kavanaugh, and he joins the Chief + 4 liberals in declining to order a stay of the trial regarding the Census citizenship question. (Possible he voted to grant stay but declined to note dissent unlike CT, SAA, NMG)

How dumb am I for rooting against the stock market and my own retirement, just so that I can imagine the look on the President's face every time Fox News tells him that his precious economic indicator has tanked even further?

    (4) And even if one needs to choose a particular kind of ethnic cuisine, do folks have great stories of highly customizable Chinese food ordering experiences? Isn't the better analogy to a Tapas menu manner? Esp if you're the kind of guy who likes Turmeric in his steak rub. /end

    (3) Even if we need a reference to a menu to elaborate the point, why does it need to be a particular kind of cuisine's menu? Isn't a "menu-like manner" descriptive enough? (Or perhaps "a la carte menu-like manner")

    (2) At the risk of being over-sensitive, what is the point of the Chinese Menu reference? Why even refer to a menu at all; if you get rid of the entire clause, the sentence still makes sense ("The government said it could then determine which provisions it wished to apply")
