    Abby and I join the entire UF Health family in mourning the loss of a great leader and true friend. We are praying for his family, friends and all of the Jacksonville community who benefitted from having him in our lives.

    It is with great sadness we share that our CEO and dean, Leon L. Haley Jr., MD, has passed away unexpectedly. Dr. Haley was a strong, inspirational leader and beloved son, father, friend and colleague. We ask that you keep his family in your prayers and thoughts.

    My friend, , has always been a positive force. The man has a sense of humor, is instinctively positive, & he treats everyone with respect. All while brutally getting results. We did Medicaid Reform together in 2005, and I’m glad he’s still there making a difference!
