    Troy Nehls is a great example of how the Babbitt thing has caught on on the right -- belatedly. There was video of it right away. Officer was cleared in April. First comment I see from Nehls came in September, nearly eight months after Jan. 6.

    Hmm.🧐 Rep. Nehls told me on 1/15 that the guards on the House floor would've been "totally justified" if they'd shot the rioters trying to enter the chamber. Nehls had joined the USCP and several other House Rs in guarding the door from rioters trying to break in on 1/6.

    Ashli Babbitt was shot on January 6th. The Justice Department cleared Lt. Byrd on April 14th. The Justice Department only spent 98 days on its review. They had ZERO intention of thoroughly investigating her murder.

    DeSantis on offering $5k bonuses to officers who leave other states over vaccine mandates: "It’s for officers, period. It has nothing to do with their vaccination status.” Calls it a "false narrative." When DeSantis brought this up, though, clear context was vaccine mandates.
