    The Supreme Court would put Biden White House in handcuffs on day 1. The only way to save democracy and allow the next administration to address climate, voter suppression, and other emergencies we face is to expand the Supreme Court.

    Democratic candidates can say a lot about the danger posed by the Supreme Court, and how to fix it, without running afoul of the voters.

    Another tidbit from the new / poll, 81% of voters had heard about the SCOTUS fight but the issue is not the winner Trump thought it would be. 48% of those voters said it made them feel more negative about Trump vs. 25% for Biden

    GOP judges & justices are already trying to tip the election by keeping Black & Brown voters from the polls, and SCOTUS seems poised try to steal a contested election if given the chance. If it does so, SCOTUS's legitimacy will be permanently undermined.

    Holy shit—Brett Kavanaugh just endorsed Rehnquist's concurrence in Bush v. Gore, which was too extreme for Kennedy or O'Connor. This is a red alert. I can't believe he put it in a footnote. This is terrifying.

    My grandparents grew up in Jim Crow Virginia, where the white ruling class kept Black people from voting. Amy Coney Barrett’s confirmation threatens to return us to the days of Jim Crow. But we don’t have to accept that fate. My latest for :

    McConnell, just after the Senate votes to limit debate on Amy Coney Barrett: "A lot of what we’ve done over the last four years will be undone sooner or later by the next election. They won’t be able to do much about this for a long time to come."
