So the fact that there was a deadline which many parties adhered to and the ANC didn't bother to is all fine suddenly? Why then have any deadline to start with and allow candidates to register right up until a week before or printing starts
Actually that has nothing to do with the principle that if the voters roll is opened, then those same voters have a right to be voted for as candidates. On 3 Aug the VR closed on the same day candidate nominations opened. We all agree it was back to front - besides DA of course.

The only back to front is you as there are rules for reasons and without rules there would be anarchy. Clearly you don't rate your parties ability to govern on its own so you need to passify the ANC with this in the hope they maybe work with you, another reason SA is in trouble
