1. Concourt decision & IEC implementation: We agree with the IEC that re-opening the voters role is inextricably linked to re-opening candidate nominations. Nominations opened on 3 Aug, the same day the VR closed. Suddenly many candidates across parties could not be nominated.
2. The right to vote is directly linked to the right to be a candidate & to be voted for. Opening one unavoidably means opening the other. The Constitution Ch 7 s158 & Ch 4 s47 is clear on who can be disqualified.
