  The bible literally spent the entire first 8 centuries AD doing nothing but being constantly changed to suit and incorporate societal ideals especially those of the roman empire and then again in the middle ages during the Great Schism do you want sources I have sources

  Well.... actually it does and has. Depending on the translation you are reading your bible has been heavily influenced by the time of its translation and the “preferences” of those doing the translation. As well as their understanding of the nuances of the original language
