That's not at all what we advocate. That kind of reaction is not Christ-like. Our focus on promoting and strengthening families means not hurting or shunning those we love and are called to protect and guide.

They have no idea the kind of abuse - violent and non-bloody kind - members of the LGBTIQ+ face. And statement like these justify the abuse, like the Bible was used to justify apartheid.
