My understanding is that two people died in KZN recently due to Ivermectin overdose albeit for illegally procured Ivermectin, but this proves a point that it is dangerous to push a medication so publicly when trials have not taken place.

The FLCC studies they’ve included are the same studies Andrew Hill included in his systematic review. He said, there aren’t enough numbers to say evidence, all done differently, lots of confounding. It shows promise but no evidence. Certainly not enough to say on live tv..1/2

3/2 ... imp-alpha/beta1 (our cells) to prevent viral protein entering the nucleus and there for slowing replication. This was however at 500x the acceptable human dose according to use as a anti parasitic. It acts on our own cells function not the virus or immune system.
4/2 when you do things to your own cells you can get off target effects at high doses. So if you’re advocating as prophylaxis- you have to take it consistently. It has a half life in the body. So you’re taking something long term that is attacking normal cell function.
FLCC are not a regulatory body and they haven’t even done a systematic review. They’re also using it for treatment not prophylaxis yet your president said don’t take the vaccine there are treatments to prevent Covid. He’s endangering lives. It’s horrific.
Don’t get me wrong, there is promise. The trials are almost complete. Until then touting miracle cure is irresponsible.
