Hopefully those “expert” modellers do not have a hand or say in anything else important. 
The modeling of projected deaths was significantly inaccurate - initially estimated at +- 340k deaths. Although every death is tragic, just over 11k deaths are #Covid19InSA-related, balanced against >120k deaths from other diseases during lockdown.
