Then they should not be marriage officers in a state funded department tasked with enacting the laws of our land. They must go and be private ministers and perform marriages in churches. Enough of your special treatment.
We agree with Cause For Justice that having no legal right to conscientious objection is unconstitutional and an unreasonable & unjustifiable limitation of marriage officers’ right to equality & non-discrimination, human dignity & freedom of conscience, religion &/or belief.
