But. We are disappointed that churches & other religious groups will still not be allowed to meet. @PresidencyZA Ramaphosa missed a golden opportunity to reassure the church and the religious sector, that Govt is not at odds with them. - @RevMeshoe .MP https://cutt.ly/YyAjFVn 

The Premier of Gauteng, Mr Makhura said: there is no reason why churches should not be open under alert level 3; its unfair to disallow the church from fulfilling its mandate; the distribution of food parcels has been politicized; Regs hindering churches must change.

The President failed to assure parents, learners, educators & unions that when schools open, the PPE's needed will be provided to all schools to minimize infections. It would have satisfied concerns & fears while showing that government is taking their health & safety seriously.
