      All homeless people entering the site were screened: * Medical screening, incl TB & COVID-19 * Criminal record screening 12 x people in isolation here, awaiting their COVID-19 results. Homeless in their "suburbs groups", as on the streets. @News24 @TeamNews24

      The site is guarded by 40-50 @CityofCT law enforcement officers & 66 private security guards. To protect people inside - & local community. Correct some people have left - primarily due to severe addiction withdrawal issues. Mainly heroin & tik. @News24 @TeamNews24pic.twitter.com/LhXzXAFFuW

      Trucks "piled high" brought matress & blankets. Emergency procurement rules used to get more, urgently. Once this is over,will try ensure people don't return to streets. But choose to reintegrate into society. For now, all here can access medical care. @News24 @TeamNews24

      What you saw today @NoSurrenderRSA is not what we have been sent by people 'living' there. They say 1. No social distancing applied. 2. Wet floors and bedding in tents. 3.
