Nobody who attended the Bloem event was positive at the event. Overseas visitors were screened at their entry point into SA by Health authorities. Some people tested a week later on 16&17/3

With all due respect, no one is suggesting that he was positive at the event. But he did come into contact with people who have since tested positive. It's widely reported now that the new cases coming out of Bloem are people who attended the event.

Secondly, it's in the public interest that he has since been to parliament where the possibility exists that he came in contact with other Honourable Members and His Excellency The President. Should the Reverend test positive, the contagion is much wider.
