In that case, the Reverend was alarmist. Why did he even broadcast his testing? How did his announcement help to calm down the forever anxious public? Surely as a respected and loved public representative he should have known that such an announcement will cause panic.
After the positive results (and even them having been tested) were only made known to @RevMeshoe on 20 March, he was self isolated anyway but with no symptoms. He then tested on 22 March.
Thats not alarmist, thats protocol.

So, the @A_C_D_P is confirming here on Twitter that indeed our beloved Reverend COVID-19 results were positive & has since been isolated although no symptoms.
We are sending our prayers that the medication must destroy that Virus so that the Reverend can continue his good work.
Wrong again. Try understand this clearly: The test was conducted yesterday 22/3, even with no symptoms. The results take 2 or 3 days to finalise.

Thanks Dr, the conversation in this thread shows the gap in knowledge as ordinary SA we bave. Asymptomatic does not mean you cannot spread it, it simply means it is not YET showing. You can still spread it while asymptomatic - right Dr? Or i got that wrong?
So he's likely to be "unwell". We don't wish for him to be infected. He's a fellow South African who is doing good for our country. One of the few morally upright leaders of our time. We wish him well.
This means yesterdays tests was the 2nd. You are hoping he has recovered? So all this time you kept this a secret that he tested positive?
Was that "tested positive" in reference to Rev Meshoe or the person who possibly infected the Rev? #Angilwi just seeking clarity.
