    . is an extremely strong woman and I will not let the death of her son be forgotten. Allen passed away 2 years ago because he was rationing his insulin. His death could have been prevented if our country put human lives before profit.

    Here is an easy tip to collect a list of relevant insulin news articles each month and send them out to chapter members: I just retweet whichever ones I feel are most important. Then, on the last day of the month, scroll through our profile and copy the links. Send em out, done!

    A little perspective: the insulin I need to take when I eat costs $0.30 per unit in the US. For a small sandwich and an apple, we will say 45 carbs, which is about 9 units for me. $2.70 to physically be able to eat lunch. It blows my mind.

    HB66 has PASSED THE HOUSE! If approved by the Senate and signed by the Governor, this bill will cap insulin costs for a 30 day supply at $30 for some Virginians. 29.57% OF VIRGINIA RESIDENTS MAY BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS BILL. It is a start! Thank your rep!

    Wow thanks for the love on this the past 24 hours. Yes, it is important to scream “Insulin is being price gouged!” from the rooftops. But it is also important to explain what price gouging actually means and how this is even happening in the first place. Educate!

    There is NO REASON the price of insulin in America is $300/vial. The same, unchanged insulin was released 23 years ago at $21 a vial. The insulin companies have increased the price of unchanged insulin by over 1200% bc we die w/o it.

    I picked up my son's Rx for Amoxicillin for strep. Retail price=$13.39; $4.19 w/insurance. How many kids would go blind or die from scarlet fever if antibiotics cost $300 like insulin? Would politicians listen to drug company lobbyists? Or would they act?

    The idea of non-diabetic non medical professionals now trying to push Walmart insulin is infuriating. It’s wrong. It’s not the answer. It’s hard enough to love as a 24/7. thanks for screaming the truth.

    My vial of insulin is about the same price of a nintendo switch lmfao. Imagine having to buy a NINTENDO SWITCH every month. I only use 1 vial. Some people use SIX!!! SIX NINTENDO SWITCHES EVERY MONTH TIL YOU DIE I don’t know why I’m making this comparison!!! It’s 11PM!!!!!
