Respectfully disagree on this one. We must not give quackery an air of credibility.

The conclusions were made on old evidence no more recent than 2014. Eg NHS guidelines on low back pain say #yoga and #TaiChi chi are first line therapies. This legislation is out of stephttps://www.bmj.com/content/356/bmj.i6748 …

Actually... I should have been more specific. Naturopathy though... respectfully suggest get some input from oncologists, RDs, eating disorder recovery specialists etc on harm done to their patients via being put on restrictive diets without good evidence.

If you want to be evidenced based take a look at the research based curriculum of current 4 yr #Naturopathy degree courses.

Thanks Dave, it does have the feel of a hatchet job. Let’s be clear current #naturopathy standards are high, all failures should be dealt with (no shortage of medical cases!), and current edu stds high. And common sense also make me to think so many people choosing can’t be wrong

follow the account that I tagged. personally i just get frustrated having to work SO hard to get female clients eating anywhere near enough, and then just when we seem to be getting somewhere I hear "my naturopath says I need to cut carbs & go grain free because adrenal fatigue"

Why do you think that the number of people who believe a thing has anything to do with whether it's true? And why do you think that common sense is reliable? Does common sense tell you that you can power a lightbulb miles away by moving a magnet around near a coil of wire?

What we ALL really need is for ALL 'failures and mistakes' in the medical world - TO BE made public knowledge. Especially the surgery mistakes where the surgeons cover each others backs (liars)
