Also, your standard “did you try turning it off and back on again” doesn’t really resolve the issue. I’ve had the buffering issue for over six months.

The quality of your home/cell-phone network can affect how smoothly YouTube videos play. If there are multiple devices on your network, then the connection is shared between them which may reduce the speed. Try switching networks, WiFi to cellular and vice versa. Let us know.

It acts the same regardless of load on the network (which is pretty fast fiber-optic) or if I’m on LTE and on other networks as well.
