This new "verification fix" on @TeamYouTube makes me upset:
It gives priority to large brands over smaller ones.
It gives large businesses carte blanche to walk all over existing trademarks, branding and recognition of smaller creators.
It opens the flood gates for impersonation

I've spent a long hard time, buying domains for large sums of money, registering trademarks, doing all I can to have pressreset as my "brand", and I looked forward to getting verified. It was hard enough to get YouTube to give me the /pressreset URL & username for petes sake.

Replying to @pressreset @TeamYouTube
I haven't gotten any emails (yet). Maybe it's a size thing?

Oh, I get it now. They use the word 'verified' to mean two totally different things. I'm 'verified' but not _verified_.
