Sonia Gupta seems like a fairly harsh person. Which fits, since she spent years as a prosecutor in Lousiana. I looked up a few of her cases.pic.twitter.com/zui6CiOBc1

Folks, I didn't know it, but apparently this whole thread is defamatory. Shut it down people.pic.twitter.com/l4ZIFuumFq
I join Andrew’s tweet in its entirety except I’m much less charitable.
I've read that tweet several times and I still cant follow it. I'm too old to know what any of this means anyway. Should she be outraged at the coffee shop for offering it at all? Should I worry that I have turmeric in my spice cabinet? I'm confused & have many questions
In all candor, I read that tweet and thought that I want to know where that place is. A golden turmeric latte sounds delicious. Also, I wonder if they’d be willing to modify it for me into a golden turmeric chai tea latte with almond milk.
Engaging in cultural appropriation as an individual does not make one a bigot and she never said it did. The fact you’d portray it as such makes me believe you are not addressing the topic in good faith.
It’s possible I legitimately missed the part where someone was “branded a bigot,” but being told that something is “cultural appropriation” isn’t it.
