Today's focus on bridges is a reminder of ARTBA's annual report on bridge conditions. artbabridgereport.org The IIJA's new dedicated bridge formula and grant programs will help states make needed improvements to the 43,578 structurally deficient bridges across the country.

Other states receiving Large Bridge Project grants include California, Connecticut and Illinois, totaling $2.2 billion in investments from the IIJA's Bridge Investment Program. The Bridge Investment Program provides $12.5 billion in competitive grants over 5 years.
