Armenian Assembly’s Tweets

I strongly condemn Azerbaijan's cruel blockade of the Lachin Corridor, which has been depriving ~120,000 Armenians of food, fuel, and medicine for nearly two months. I took to the House floor to again urge the Administration to end all U.S. military assistance to Azerbaijan.

Thank you, (D-NY), for your staunch support of Armenians and for helping evacuate a constituent's wife and son who have been trapped in #Artsakh due to Azerbaijan's blockade. Urge Congress to stop all U.S. aid to Azerbaijan 🔗 action.aaainc.org

Helping my constituents, no matter where they are in the world, is always my top priority. I am proud to have helped in the evacuation of a constituent’s wife and son who were trapped in Nagorno-Karabakh (#Artsakh) due to the blockade of the #LachinCorridor.

CHM “I’m concerned about the worsening humanitarian crisis in the Lachin Corridor & urge the Gov of Azerbaijan to facilitate fully unimpeded free passage. All parties must redouble efforts to secure a lasting peace between Armenia & Azerbaijan.”

Thank you, Armenian Caucus Co-Chair (D-CA), for speaking out against the hatred advocating genocide against Armenians. You are correct, "The community needs support - not hate."

It was shocking to see posters advocating genocide against Armenians. We must all condemn this bigotry in the strongest terms. Armenia and Artsakh face the real threat of war from Azerbaijan. The community needs support — not hate.

Thx for being a powerful voice for the voiceless, including Armenians of Nagorno-Karabakh. Azerbaijan has been interfaith-washing its ethnic cleansing for too long. Glad that isn’t giving it a pass. Are we all doing our part to end #ArtsakhBlockade?

This attack by Israeli far-right extremists in Jerusalem's Christian Quarter is an attack on Israel's core values. Israel stands for democracy, pluralism, and freedom of expression. We join in condemning this outrageous assault.

Very good to hear this from Secretary of State Blinken. The Lachin corridor blockade is fueling a growing humanitarian crisis, extremely important that diplomatic efforts prevail here as soon as possible.

I urged President Aliyev to immediately restore commercial traffic on the Lachin corridor. Each day it remains blocked risks a humanitarian crisis and undermines the steps that Armenia and Azerbaijan have taken toward peace. The U.S. is committed to supporting these efforts.

Thank you, Senior & Armenian Caucus Member, Rep. (D-CA), for condemning Azerbaijan’s blockade of Artsakh and calling on the Administration to end all U.S. military aid to Azerbaijan by enforcing the principles of Section 907 of the FREEDOM Support Act

Yesterday marked 45 days of Azerbaijan's brutal blockade of #Artsakh. Today, I urged my colleagues and the Administration to impose real consequences on the Aliyev regime. Congress cannot stay silent as #Azerbaijan tries to starve and freeze 120,000 Armenians out of Artsakh.

We greatly appreciate ’ support and friendship, and look forward to working with him and his colleagues to ensure that the Lachin Corridor is open and that Azerbaijan is held accountable for its actions - State Director John Jamian

I met with members of Michigan’s thriving Armenian community earlier this week, heard their concerns & reaffirmed my commitment to holding Azerbaijan accountable for its continued aggression –– particularly the closure of the Lachin corridor. The U.S. must stand with Armenia.
