It is not about convincing, it is about lobby. In France, most of the population believe nuclear plant is the only viable way to make mass production energy. Why ? Because of lobbying.

I think you're partly right. Lobbying, voting, traditional political mechanisms are great, but they only go so far. But this specifically is not about that. This is a cult. This is unshakeable. Even if you take these people guns away, it will only amplifies the obsession.
