    Three months ago, Keir Starmer was trumpeting Basildon as a flagship Labour council. It’s now Conservative controlled.

    Basildon Result : CON: 10 (+4) LAB: 3 (-2) IND: 2 (+1) UKIP: 0 (-3) Council Now: CON 22, LAB 12, IND 8. Conservative GAIN from NOC.
