This is semantics. He said that the Dems claiming his non-existent response to the virus was a hoax. But If he didn’t think the virus was a hoax and purposely had such a lackluster response, he looks even worse.

Exactly. How can a non-existent response, that Trump himself is celebrating (since the virus will go away on its own and is just a cold), then also be a "Democrat hoax"? The only "hoax" is the virus itself is deadly. I can't see any other context.
