As a psychologist, I recognise and celebrate the value of the action you're doing today. Psychology should serve to care, promote and preserve the wellbeing and mental health of the population. Any political interest should not be allowed to influence psychological interventions.
Psychology by its nature is political. Everything from how studies are conducted to the integration of sociology into psychology to clinical formulation to how sessions are scaled or paid for. Even in the embracing of anti-racism movements, we won't ever not be political.
