This is so horrific
I lived in Denver, and I remember seeing a video just recently everybody being rushed out of Costco and when they got outside the fire was so close it seemed!
What a way to start a new year. Prayers, hope and strength goes out to all these people

I lived in CO from 84-2019, climate change worsened in the 2000’s. It’s horrific. They’ve had no precip since summer and hurricane force wind

Holy moly that is very very close to Rocky Flats. Supposedly a cleaned-up superfund site… but, I wonder just how “clean” it would be if a fire raged through there. Wouldn’t be surprised if a fire unearthed radioactive contamination to be spread far & wide via the smoke.
