Indeed, that’s the way I see it. Panic can make things not register, so the weight of the gun may not even register to someone in her mental state at that time. Why are so many police panicking though, they’re armed and should not be panicking.

No. She was not panicked, as shown by the video. The taser is kept on her left. It is lighter. It unholsters different. It is bright yellow. She had her gun out for at least 10 seconds before shooting She is a 24 year vet. This was not a mistake at all.
