I like how the qualifier is MOST infectious. Sure it's still infectious, but it's not at its most infectious. Now that's disease control baby!

yes, the CDC would recommend that people "get back to work" and "keep the economy going" along with "die for the GDP"
-
When they first moved it to 10 days I was telling people it's because they didn't want people out of work for more than a week, now they push it even lower so people don't miss any more than a few days + a weekend. The lying is so blatant... Money > People

Pushing still sick people to work won’t help them recover. Hello,
#LongCovid???!!!Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

Well, that’s just not true. It’s based off the fear of staffing shortages as people quarantine in greater numbers due to spread of
#Omicron. Even Director Walensky stated it was to “keep society functioning” (i.e. corporate profits). -
At the expense of our healthcare workers, first responders and other essential employees ... Absolutely despicable. This will hardly encourage anyone to wear masks. It will be a free-for-all with people going to work when they're sick and sending sick kids back to school.

This is incredibly irresponsible - your tweet and headline bury the fact that isolation is 5 days ONLY if (i) NO symptoms and (ii) wear a mask for next 5 days. The NO symptoms will eliminate a huge percentage of people from dropping from 10-5 days. Yet you ignore that.
-
Actual CDC language: "people who test positive should isolate for 5 days and, if asymptomatic at that time, they may leave isolation if they can continue to mask for 5 days to minimize the risk of infecting others."
