"The problem is worsening." Fatal drug doses involving an animal tranquilizer are on the rise in parts of the United States. Experts are sounding the alarm because unlike opioids, there's no antidote to reverse a xylazine overdose.http://apne.ws/MwulfDg

No its because drug cartels are cutting opioids with xylazine to lower the cost of making them.

Well, you convince ignorant people that animal meds are safe for humans (ivermectin), it’s not a stretch for them to try others…it’s sad

Oh yes! That's the ticket! We've only been "addressing" the drug problem for a hundred or so years. No doubt about it--we need more "addressing."

“xylazine was involved in fatal drug overdoses in 23 states in 2019, with the highest rate 67% happening in the Northeast. The animal sedative used in veterinary medicine to sedate cows, horses, sheep and other animals is being added to other drugs, mostly fentanyl and heroin”

There are reversal drugs for Xylazine. A number of them. Readily available in vet med and they could be made available like Naloxone.

Psychiatry has been giving Xylazine to the Military since 1993. The reason it is hitting the streets is because Psychiatrists are now prescribing them to Civilians, and it's killing them too.
