If it’s three times as contagious, but only half as deadly, that’s still a lot of really sick unvaccinated people.

Nothing new. The hysteria has already been made.

No one wants COVID period, “mild” or not. What exactly is mild?!? If not dying or not ending up intubated in the ICU is mild I still don’t want it. These articles/headlines aren’t helpful.
-
Mild as in like the flu or a cold. Nobody wants either but you can’t pick and choose which diseases you may get.

Many of the Twitter hysteria crowd hate this news. It prevents them from spreading their fear monger narrative, kills their credibility even more and exposes how harmful their advice was. (This is not an antivax message either - I support vaxes strongly)

Every single time there's some sort of half-good news, there come the specialists with "yes but..."

Gotta stay relevant.

Looks like we will be getting a yearly COVID vax along with Flu vax. Eventually everyone is going to be exposed, just as I've never heard of anyone who has never had the Flu or norovirus (aka "food poisoning")... both low mortality, but boosted covid vax is also low mortality.pic.twitter.com/bUuY9ndowW

Norovirus is not the same as food poisoning. (The term "virus" is key.)https://www.uhhospitals.org/Healthy-at-UH/articles/2021/04/is-it-stomach-bug-stomach-flu-or-food-poisoning …
