There is no reason to believe this woman did this intentionally. Police officers have to make split second decisions. She made a fatal mistake and she will live with that for the rest of her life. Nothing in her life that they brought up leads me to believe this is a bad person.

There are mistakes that while unintentional must have consequences. That’s why these charges can grade from first degree murder down to manslaughter. She doesn’t have to spend life in prison but should absolutely see time.
