So the high school is about to be investigated but no investigation into why a segment of this society sees nothing wrong with buying a 15 year old kid a fire arm?
-
While there are many issues with the fact that gun was not locked up in a safe, the school was warned by teachers & students that this kid was planning on doing a shooting even telling them *when* but the school effectively did nothing. They are just as -if not more- responsible.

America should have flagged the behavior of politicians selling out to the NRA. But sure, let’s blame beleaguered school officials.
-
The school admin was told he was planning on doing a shooting & sent an email telling other parents there was nothing to worry about. They had a meeting *at school* about those concerns and let him go back to class just before he did the shooting. This is on the school.

Being a bad parent is a hand me down which means the bad parents didn't learn from their own toxic experience as a child of bad parents. It goes on and on generation after generation until someone wakes up and stops the destructive/abusive patterns.

Lots of people w/ bad parents don't buy their kid an a3utomaticgun, train how to kill, & give an opportunity to kill a bunch of people. I truly umderstand your point, but these parents acted quite independently, decisively, and uniquely. I'm in no mood to allow them any grace.
