The kid had the gun in his bag the very MORNING his mom and dad refused to let the school suspend him. I’d say far more people than the parents of that kid are culpable for those deaths.

Yup. Someone should investigate how that school enabled this travesty. How on earth was it the parents' option to leave that kid in school?

If teachers saw the threat the prior day as reported, this investigation shouldn’t be too difficult

The first time the kid and his parents were questioned about his threats should've been the time the school expelled him and alerted the police. People from the school will be fired and likely sued for not alerting the authorities ahead of time.

After the fact, it’s so easy to point to the signs. And blame those who “ignored” or excused them. And it’s a great way for the media to turn the storyline away from the truth - THAT WE STILL NEED TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT GUNS IN AMERICA!!

Yes, always blame the school. Especially when the parents are notified and refuse the school’s directive.

I’m so tired of schools being blamed for everything. This was a complete failure by the PARENTS. Guess what parents? Time to step up and take responsibility for your children.
