they've found that about 4% of death row inmates have been exonerated before or after their execution, so it's at least 5% that's completely innocent. probably more though

#loopholes to bring you comfort and cheer! "The state only allows wrongful imprisonment payments to people who were exonerated through DNA evidence...." Law change needs to end after the words wrongfully imprisoned. -
Also Missouri caps payments at little over $36k per year, which means the payouts that they DO "make" can take longer than 20 years.
