The Biden administration and Democrats talked the climate talk at U.N. negotiations in Scotland. They're now about to show whether a politically divided U.S. can walk the walk, and squeeze a $555 billion investment for clean energy through the Senate.http://apne.ws/07MRpRp

There are clean energy investments that would greatly improve the transition period for moving to green energy. There are eco friendly hydro electric proposals, enhanced geo thermal, and advanced safe nuclear options. All offer many jobs in a variety of fields.

Our political situation is like a boat pulling a very heavy anchor… a very loud, relentless, heavy anchor.

Meanwhile @Sen_JoeManchin (with heavy coal industry investments) is having a day of remembrance for men that died in a coal mine accident.

In terms of government help addressing the climate crisis, this voting issue is fairly binary: Folks who believe govt can & should address climate change, vote for Democratic candidates. Folks who believe govt shouldn't be involved in addressing climate crisis, vote Republican.

We can’t keep putting off transitioning to clean energy. But it needs to be done strategically so that those who work in the energy sector won’t find themselves out of a job with no way to take care of their families.

Seems to me Dems must get #Biden’s #ClimatePlan through the House & Senate /and the money committed/ before the mid-terms or Republicans will undoubtedly roll it back. #ClimateCrisis #ClimateActionNow
