For the first time, 100,000 Americans died of drug overdoses in one year, U.S. health officials say. One reason cited is the growing prevalence of deadly fentanyl in the illicit drug supply.http://apne.ws/1ZVyj8s

Overdose deaths have been rising for more than two decades and jumped nearly 30% in the year ending in April 2021. Experts believe the top drivers are fentanyl and the COVID-19 pandemic, which left many drug users unable to get treatment or other support.http://apne.ws/4NlCWLk

I think better thought. Pharma companies should stop pushing opioids and highly addictive medication for profit esp when they lead to ppl taking harder stuff.

It’s a good thing Democrat states closed everything down for so long just to hurt the economy and have a talking point during the presidential campaign.

Finally, the root cause is exposed. Guess what? It isn't chronic pain patients or pills for that matter. The DEA needs to get over their fear of guns and go for criminals instead of doctors and patients.

We shutdown all life (with very little apparent gain regarding the virus) for most of 2020, we then give people with nothing to do, & little hope about the future, free government money, & then after a record number of people die of drug overdoses we primarily blame… Fentanyl!

Best way to stop this is to get vaccinated. Seems to be the answer to everything nowadays
