“Even if they are vaccinated themselves” would be a description of the large majority of parents in this country; your wording seems to imply that people who are both vaccinated and parents are some kind of rarity.

Parents are placing their children in front of this needle. Nobody seems to be "making" them do it. They have good intentions but likely cling to a belief that these vaccines are safe & effective (as they've been repeatedly told) and not accepting otherwise.
