OFC it opposes unionisation. Big business will always oppose unions, no matter how "liberal" they put out to be. Their liberal-ness is directly targeted to their profits, once it becomes not profitable, they will stop.

I believe its a class thing in America, like people find it fashionable to have a Starbucks cup in their hand while walking around town? Because the coffee is below average, and the pricing is absurd. No other reason comes to mind.
