Language has power and the fact that there isn't even a word for rape shows the power dynamic in that particular country overwhelmingly favors aggressive males...that is terrifying, what a tremendous woman, I applaud her bravery, more of these stories please.

Good this lady is no longer intimidated in a continent that sadly, continues to subjugate women & children. Even the churches look the other way. Let’s support this lady & many like her who now say “no more”! Africa needs them. The world needs them too.

Africa doing well requires that women speak up & get involved. Like the men, running to other countries isn’t a solution. Nothing’s inherently wrong w/the continent. Despite the damning & lingering effects of slavery, colonialism & religious incursions, lots of good’s there.
