          Only people who get paid well in nursing homes are administration and the Nurses. All the aids get paid crappy wages for what they do and they are the ones who do the most work

          Our aging seniors need to be cared for better. Nursing homes aren’t homes there a long lost failed example of why caring for the elderly needs to be reinvented.

          When will Americans take home their parents and give them proper care? Nursing homes have always been horrible in my opinion. Retired nurse here.

          Not always possible. When it is possible, it's very demanding (physical) work. You need family to help or $ to hire help. We help care for 90 yr old (almost 10 yrs) We're a rather large family & a few of us are retired. It's still hard, drains u physically & emotionally. Also
